We went to a local historical museum and village that had a holiday event going on for one more night. My sister, Janice, works there so we wanted to see her at her job. My other sister, Tracy, is here visiting and we wanted to do something fun.
This is Tracy and my mom waiting in line to ride a Model T. I think the car they rode in was from 1914, if I remember right!
Janice was working in the ice skating tent; she had told me that they had one pair of tiny skates that might work for Zoe. We decided to give it a try and see if she would like it. We got her skates on…
And got mine on and went out on the ice! It was cool to be skating outside at night – very pretty!
This was taken after we had already skated around the entire rink!
Her tiny little skates!
Aunt Janice, Zoe, and Grandpa…Zoe really didn’t want to give the skates back!
Steve, Zoe, and I right outside of the carousel:
My parents and Tracy, too…
It was a very rainy and somewhat chilly night to go, but it was really fun. Glad we got the chance to see what it was like. I can’t believe Zoe ice skated AND really liked it!!

We had a great time, in spite of the weather - wouldn't have missed it!
