Today was the doctor appointment. Everything went really well. I had never been there before so I was worried that we might be late. There was so much construction on the way to where she lives as well as on the way to the doctor. It all went fine, though! It was cool because I got to pick her up at her home and meet her brother.
At the doctor's office, I got to hear the baby's heartbeat! Let me repeat that...I got to hear the baby's heartbeat!!! It sounded like boom, boom, boom, boom...very strong and very fast! I think that must be one of the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard.
So, everything is going well. We were able to spend a little time together and talk afterwards, too.
24 days until the baby's due date!

That's wonderful! It sounds like you are really developing a relationship with the mother and I'm sure that puts both of you at ease.

oh.....i remember hearing milo's heartbeat for the first time....it sounded like a little choo choo train and it was music to my ears. :) how wonderful that you were able to be there and hear such a beautiful sound. :)

Suzanne -- No, we still don't know if it's a girl or a boy. It will be a big surprise for all of us! We're also keeping the names a secret, so everyone in our family (and friends) will have 2 surprises!
LL -- I have SO much to do over the next few weeks! I'm back to school in a couple days, so I'm quickly trying to pull everything together. I'm getting there. I just want things done, so it will be much easier for my substitute.

WOO HOO! I bet that so incredible! I can't even imagine...I might cry if I heard that! What a great day! YYEEAAHH! :) And Wendy, I've joined the September club...we are now due Sept 27th...we'll be just a couple of days behind ya! CRAZY!!
