Biopsy and MTHFR

I asked my doctor about the MTHFR diagnosis. She said I have the C677T version; I'll just have to take Folgard and baby aspirin. Not Lovenox or Heparin since I don't have the clotting version.

I had the biopsy done, and it went okay. It didn't take too long - maybe 10 minutes or so. My doctor had a hard time getting the catheter in, but finally she was able to get it where it needed to be. I had a lot of cramping when she did the biopsy itself. I've also had some bleeding since then, but it's not too bad.

If all goes well, we'll be starting Lupron soon for IVF #3.

I am so, so glad you are finally getting some answers and even more excited that you decided to go for another cycle. Your doctor is optimistic which is a good sign!

Let us know the results of the biopsy when you can! I have a friend with endometrosis. She basically resolved to the fact that she couldn't get pregnant. About 2 years later, she was pregnant(even her doctor was surprised). I remember she told me one of the cures for endometrosis is actually pregnancy. How ironic, huh? If you have it, you can't get pregnant and that turns out to be one of the things that makes it better?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis earlier this year. I had a lap, d&c to have it removed. I had others removed too - fibroids, ovarian cysts, and polyps!!!!!!!!

I am hoping this cycle will be YOU.

I'm glad you are getting some testing done before gearing up for cycle 3. I hope the results are just the answer for making the next one work.

I really really hope this is it for you, Wendy. (:
