I went in for my ultrasound and bloodwork this morning. Everything looked fine, so I was able to start my Lupron shots tonight. I'll be doing all of my injections at 7am and 7pm. I will use 20 units Lupron twice a day and then I'll add in 300 units of Bravelle and 75 units of Menopur starting on Wednesday morning. I'll be doing those injections twice a day, too.
I am also going to go to a preparing-for-IVF meeting next Monday. They are holding it at my RE's office. I'll be able to talk with other patients who are going through IVF right now, too.
I'm doing okay tonight. I feel pretty good. Steve said to me that he is really happy that we are able to try again. That made me feel good and made me worry a little less.

I'm glad all looked good today and you are on your way for your cycle. IVF#3 - Game on!!!
The meeting sounds like a great idea and I hope you are able to get some great support. I know you are scared so know that I'm here with you every step of the way cheering you on.
Thanks so much, B. I was leery about going to the meeting - I don't know why...call me crazy. But I know the woman who is running it. She is the same person I talked to before when IVF #2 didn't work. She's really nice. She said she thinks I'll get along well with the other person who's coming. I guess it's just nice to talk to people who are going through the same things.
Thanks for checking on me.
Wendy,
I just found your blog and I just started the md lupron flare protocol on Thursday. Today is Cd6 for me. It is my first IVF. I truly hope it is the one for both of us. I like what you wrote about Randy Pausch. My mil died of pancreatic cancer in 2006, so we have been following Randy's journey closely. He was an amazing person.
Nice to 'meet' you!
Brandy
Nice to meet you, too, Brandy. I hope this protocol works well for you and that this is it for you, too. Thank you for reading my blog.
Glad to hear that things are coming along! I do hope you meet others who understand what you are going through. I just recently started going to a monthly drop-in support group for IF and it has been wonderful!
You are so strong to get back up on the horse! Good for you! I am so proud of you. Sounds like a really aggressive protocol! Maybe it's the one that fits. I am thinking of you.
YES, a variant good
